A variety of jobs are found in West Virginia, including service occupation like cosmetology and medicine and manufactureing occupations like textile manufacturing.  Mining occupations cover a variety of jobs.  Some jobsin West Virginia are regional.  For example in the Ohio river valley and the allegheny Plateau.  Wood industries are located primarily in the Allegheny Highlands.  The $200 million FBI finger printing center near Clarksburg consists of five identical modules that can be easily expanded.

         Today  West Virginia is looking to develope and attract new economic activity.  Since every other state in the us is seeking to do the same thing, there is tremendous competition among the states to attract new business to be competition, West Virginia must have an educated and skilled work force, a good transportation system, plenty of natural resources, and favorable goverment policies.   A skilled work force has always been one of the states strengths.  West Virginia are also known for there work ethic.
               One of the fastest growing industries in W.V. is tourism. They may be looking for scenic or historic attractions, participating in a sport activity, or just passing through.
